It has been revealed that Manchester United are exploring the prospect of signing Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the pair are on top of United’s wanted list following the commercial successes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku which proven big transfer targets can pay the bills.

The shirt sales of Pogba and Lukaku are paving the commercial viability of a future deal.

It is understood that Welshman Bale has regularly said he is happy at the Spanish capital and has no desire to leave.

Griezmann was United’s top transfer target last summer, but the Frenchman eventually decided to stay at Atletico Madrid following their transfer ban.
